Skirt Resizing

This skirt used to be my grandma's. She left behind a lot of clothes when she moved into a dementia care home. I've been slowly going through all the clothes and either giving them to charity or repurposing them. This skirt didn't need much love, just to be taken in by a couple of inches.

I did this by folding over a section of the fabric and sewing it down till it reached he point where the fabric naturally flares out. I used the edging foot on my sewing machine for this.
