Rucksack Painting

I used acrylics for this piece, mixing them with a medium to make them more flexible, so they adhere to the fabric better. I also used a transparency medium to allow a gradient, particularly for the blues.
The butterflies on the sleeves were an addition I decided on partway through to use up leftover paint from the main design.
I lined both designs with a black pen rather than paint, for more precision.

I haven't rubbed off the pencil marks yet, but I'll probably get round to it eventually.
