Gaffa Tape Sandy (Part II)

Wow did I hear someone asking me why part II is out before part I?? Well, that's a good question. The answer is: I forgot.
I forgot that I still needed to take photos of the first modded GTS top, and I'm too impatient to not post this anyway.

I wanted to mirror the alterations I did to the first GTS top to some extent, so I figured I'd do some kind of lines across the top of the sleeves and down the sides again - and obviously I cropped it.

I had some keychain hoops lying around, that I'd considered using on the Skele-jacket project, but decided against. I basically just started cutting at that point. Then, I folded over the edges of the slit and sewed them down to make them a little sturdier.
I used bobby pins to hold the hoops in place while I sewed them to the sides of the slit (in hindsight I could definitely have found something better to secure them).

I only decided to make the design asymetrical after finishing the first sleeve, at which point I'd already cut the slit on the other sleeve. So, I decided to use a blanket stitch to pull them back together in a way that would still look cool.

I then forgot to take anymore progress photos at all (was watching Dandadan)...
But you can see the stitching on the sleeve in the photo below.
